How can you get the most out of your time at Butte College?

The way I can get the most out of Butte College is by allowing myself enough time to stay focused and succeed. I made a schedule that allows me to go to Butte for three days. Monday and Wednesday I attend school from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday I attend class from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. On Monday and Wednesday I have a small break in the morning and a two hour break in the afternoon. My morning break is only half an hour long. This gives me time to run an errand or two before I go to my next class. The two hour break allows me to use this time for studying or tutoring. On Friday I have the opportunity to use the rest of my day for studies, an internship, or both.
I'm working on fitting an internship into my schedule Friday afternoon for three hours. I'm doing this to receive some experience in the major of my interest. By doing this it ensure me that my focus on athletic training will become stronger.
Some of the clubs and organizations will assist me in achieving my goals for my major. Since I want to become an athletic trainer, I talked to the club organizer, and found out that I could fit the club into my schedule. Clubs are important to me for the fact that they allow me to surround myself around people that are involved in the same interests that I am. This will help for the mere fact that I will find out not only what the requirements are in this specific career, but will also allow me to gain experience in the career field that I am interested in.
