My goals and expectations for this semester are to get established in the college world. I want to achieve a 3.5 grade point average. Get familiar with the sports medicine training facility. Become an intern or volunteer in the training room. I want to live a healthier lifestyle.
The way I plan on reaching my first goal is to stay focused on my studies.
Whenever I have classwork or homework I need to get it finished as soon as I can. I have a bad habit of procrastinating, the result of that was poor grades, unnecessary stress and failure to complete assignments on time. The only way I visualize myself achieving the g.p.a. I want is to keep up with my studies. I need to make sure that I complete my homework, ask for help from tutors or professors if a question arises. Since I have a syllabus from all of my classes, I can stay on pace with my studies. When I get caught up with all of my assignments, I can use my free time to get ahead in class or review past chapters. This will assist me when the time comes to take quizzes, tests, or exams.
My major is Athletic Training. I've always had an interest in sports and I'm fascinated about medical treatment that athletes recieves after an injury occurs. I had the privilage to meet the Director of Sports Medicine, Mario Vela. I talked to Mario about starting an internship, and I'm in progress on working on a schedule that will help me when I have free time.
Another goal I have is to become healither. This is both physically and mentally. I am not happy with my weight, so I signed up for a weight training class in the morning. I think this class is the key for me to achieve all of my goals I have set this semester. Weight training will help me feel more energetic, build my self-confidence and reduce the stress in my life.336
